Heroes Season 2

Hi all!,

Ok so season 2 of Heroes is underway and it apparently airs in the US in September! So that is not too far off.
Season one ended with Peter and Nathan flying off and exploding. And technically Peter can't die, since he has absorbed the cheerleader's (Claire) powers. Syler disappears during the final confrontation (the syler and cockroach metaphor re-appears). Hiro disappears as well, who lands up in another timezone ( start of season 2).
Ok questions!
Who is the boogie man! who can see Molly and is far more dangerous than Syler?!!!
And what has the boggie man done till now? Has been latently doing evil stuff that we are still trying to figure?
Kensai, Hiro's father is also evidently a Hero. But what did his sidekick mean when he informed Hiro that Kensai is the only one who has 'true power'.
Also what about Suresh? He is the only one who has no powers. But with his kind of background, his sister and father, he is bound to possess some some kind of powers.
And I think Nathan and Peter's mother is going to resolve some issues in season 2.
It's killing me! season 2 please air now!

The squel drama

Ok so am I the only one who is not in the least bit interested in watching 'Rush Hour 3'?
What is the big deal about it anyway?
The first one was fun... ya sure.
But I mean, three times! of the same head shaking dance and the cross cultural karate moves!
It just fails to get me.

It's the same with 'Die Hard' which has been pulsating with life, ironically refusing to die off the silver screen.
Bruce Willis, looking tough, saving America, ducking under flying cars, dodging bullets, looking tough, killing the bad guys, looking tough, fighting injustice, looking tough, cleaning the system..ya and still looking super tough.

I mean there are some interesting sequels, to be loyal towards, like; The martix series,
Star wars, Spiderman, James Bond series, Austin Powers, Kill Bill,
hmmm..what else?....
Scary movie! and now looking forward to the Dark Knight sequel to Batman Begins.

Anyway, so instead I did go and check out the Yash Raj Banner. Sharukh Khan starrer ' ChakDe India'. Which is seeming to get pretty good reviews all across.
The film is interesting, the characterization is good, the film progresses with a timed sort of rhythm. There is a sense of predictability through out the film. But there seems to be an honest and genuine effort to make a 'meaningful' sport film and specifically about hockey, in Bollywood. The script is strong and the story holds well through the two hours.
But apart from missing the energy and the constant gripping excitement of 'Remember the Titans', the film is worthy to view.

'Gandhi my father' is next on the list.
Till then...

Adios!

WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO DIE?

I think that is a perfectly valid/ important/ interesting question to let your mind settle on...every once in a while.

If I has to think about how I might want to die, I think getting assassinated would be a good way to go.
A man shoots you while you are waving to a big crowd...yelling...screaming...drama..the news..your picture being flashed on TV...the tragedy...the upheaval of emotions...

Far more interesting that taking off in your sleep...you must admit

And the possibilities of knowing how and when you going to go, is even better!
Tim Burton's 'The Big Fish', is something that comes to mind.

And like everything these days, the internet seems to have all the answers. I haven't tried this myself but, check out

(Drum roll..) 'THE DEATH CLOCK!'

An online clock that tell you when exactly are you going to die!

'An internet friendly reminder that life is slipping away' (how thoughtful is this clock!)

You can find out how this clock works and visit the dead letter office on this site, so that you know its not just a fun gimmick to freak the hell out of you.

Anyhoo, here is the link..check it out...and let it be known.

S
peaking of UK, I caught this today in the ‘The Times of India’, which states that India stands only second after Thailand where the maximum number of Britons (specifically Britons) DIE!
So maximum number of British tourists traveling to India or Thailand are likely to be hospitalized or pass away during their vacation in either of these two countries.
